Journalling Workshops
I love in-person workshops where deep work is possible.
Journalling workshops are designed to be Jesus-centred spaces to explore and discover how the creative process can propel us forward in our spiritual journey. Jesus is the centre, but anyone of any faith is welcome.
A good amount of time is spent making space for such a workshop, usually from 8:30 am until 2:00pm, with a shared lunch and tea. Workshops are run for a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 people at a time.
You do not have to be an artist or even consider yourself to be creative to come on a journalling workshop!
The Journalling Workshop
The Journalling Workshop is a gentle introduction to journalling.
If you’re curious and want to know if journalling is for you, then this workshop is a great place to start! This is a safe space to do something completely new to you, or if you are already journal, come and enjoy a fresh perspective from others in the group!
In this workshop you will
Experience freedom from “journalling guilt” of what we think we “should” be doing and step into what journalling looks like for each of us as a unique individual
Find out how journalling can be a powerful tool for recording your spiritual journey and why that matters
Have time to hear from God and reflect on where you are in your own journey
Be given ideas and tools to use journalling in creative ways
Have fun with a group of like-minded people
“All things work out for your good as you love the Lord through your process. If you see the process as a negative, there will be no gain. But if you see it as an opportunity, you will not only get to the other side of it, but you will look back and smile, being the one telling the stories of God’s faithfulness. You won’t just be listening to the stories of another. You have your own book, write it well.” Theresa Morrison.
What people have said about The Journalling Workshop
“I felt like you demystified journalling for me. I felt inspired to pick up my journal again and just go for it!”
“Why do I get stuck in the ‘rules’? Who said journalling MUST be done in a certain way? This workshop helped me get unstuck!”
“Linda you are a born facilitator. You did a fabulous job encouraging people to participate, to give feedback as well as to connect with God in a profound way!”
Back to the Garden Journalling Workshop
Back to the Garden journalling workshop is a workshop designed to bring us back to a place of intimacy with Jesus. “Then God planted a garden in Eden, in the east. He put the Man he had just made in it.” (Genesis 2:8, The Message)
We were created in a garden, a place of growth, productivity, beauty, communion, and rest.
We are being called back to that place of intimacy, back to the garden. A place where we can be reminded of who we are and how we are seen by Jesus.
This is an invitation to spend a day away ‘in the garden.’
We will explore Kingdom Identity
Learn how to use journalling to explore Scriptural promises and prophetic words
Be encouraged, delighted and refreshed.
We do clay work, journalling, talking, and being still throughout the day.
You will gain tools to take home and continue processing on your own, further into your identity.
What people have said about the Back to the Garden Journalling Workshop
“This gentle nudge to keep on journalling is so important for spiritual growth.”
“The use of flowers was delightful! I love symbols as a way of exploring who I am, what fits with me and doesn’t! The group was amazing and I enjoyed being with everyone in such a relaxed environment!”
