Hello and welcome!

I am a social worker and play therapy practitioner based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, South Africa. I work with children and their parents in creative, reflective ways to increase emotional connection in families.

The journey to full emotional health is a lifelong one, it's a process of ongoing self-discovery and growth that is never "done" on earth. This journey is as beautiful as it can be heartbreaking and painful, we cannot do it aloneI believe in the power of play therapy and have seen what it can do for children and young people as well as parents.

What parents say about working with me

It's obvious that Linda was born to do this kind of work. She's got this natural talent for connecting with kids, and her play therapy skills are seriously on point. She's has made a real impact on our child's emotional growth and on us as parents, and we're so thankful to have her in our corner.

Mother of a 3 year old

Linda has a wonderfully warm way about her. She is open, caring and adaptable. She has a genuine interest in what she does and is vested in the well-being of her clients. I would highly recommend her.

Father of a 5 year old

My experience with Linda was good and informative. She was able to give us objective feedback, she has her own way of getting information from my child which he would not easily tell us as parents.

Mother of a 9 year old

What stands out for me is that Linda has gone out of her way to make me feel part of my child’s journey, and in that process, helped me improve my parenting knowledge.

Mother of an 8 year old

Linda was an incredible support for our young boy who was processing some traumatic loss at the time. She gently and considerately equipped him with the space to process and gave language he needed to communicate his emotions. We are incredibly grateful to Linda for the wonderful impact she has had on our son and hence our family.

Parents of a 4 year old.

Linda has such a magically calming aura about her. My son really felt comfortable and opened up to his true self around her. He showed great excitement on the days he went to see her. Linda really listened to us as parents and gave such practical techniques and games which we could use at home to further assist his journey. Any family would benefit from her passion, kindness and expertise.

Mother of a 10 year old

Our time with Linda has been seriously great. Even though our first session was online, her energy was totally there, making it feel like we were in the same room. She really took the time to listen to our thoughts about our 3 year old. She didn’t rush us and made us feel totally comfortable opening up. We left that session feeling like she really got us and our concerns.

Child on child abuse: An increasing reality and one family’s story

2 February 2024 Problematic sexual behaviour in children I want to draw attention to something that is by no means easy to talk about, let alone think about. Parenting: It’s about who you are, not what you know

26 January 2024 Parenting is about who you are and how you see yourself, not what you know. Parenting from the heart as opposed to the head. We can listen to as many profound talks as we like, get hold of the best tools and techniques, but unless we move out of our heads and…

Process is Messy

12 January 2024   Process is messy   I was reminded once again during the holidays that process is messy. It just is. We put up some shelves in our living space and standing there in the middle of putting them up, it felt once again like we’d just moved in. The chaotic mess in…
