A Personal Journey
"You have your own book, write it well." Teresa Morrison.
All journalling workshops are designed to be spaces of personal reflection, gentle dialogue with a good sprinkling of fun and laughter! These workshop will be a catalyst to your personal growth process and give you confidence to use journalling as a part of your growth process.
What to Expect
A good amount of time is spent making space for such a workshop, usually a whole morning with a refreshing and delicious tea. Workshops are run for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people at a time.
You do not have to be an artist or even consider yourself creative to attend a journalling workshop!
Types of Workshops
The Journalling Workshop
The Journalling Workshop is a gentle introduction to journalling. If you’re curious and want to know if journalling is for you, then this workshop is a great place to start! This is a safe space to try something completely new, or if you already journal, come and enjoy a fresh perspective from others in the group!
In this workshop, you will:
- Experience freedom from "journalling guilt" and step into what journalling looks like for you as a unique individual.
- Find out how journalling can be a powerful tool for recording your spiritual journey and why that matters.
- Learn how to use journalling in your spiritual growth journey and reflect on where you are.
- Be given ideas and tools to use journalling in creative ways.
- Have fun with a group of like-minded people.
Back to the Garden Journalling Workshop
Back to the Garden journalling workshop is designed to bring us back to a place of intimacy with Jesus. We were created in a garden—a place of growth, productivity, beauty, communion, and rest.
"Then God planted a garden in Eden, in the east. He put the Man he had just made in it." (Genesis 2:8, The Message)
This workshop invites you to spend a day away "in the garden," where we explore:
- Kingdom Identity
- Using journalling to explore Scriptural promises and prophetic words
- Being encouraged, delighted, and refreshed
The day includes clay work, journalling, talking, and stillness. You will gain tools to take home and continue processing your identity on your own.
